Most of us can not go running around talking to everyone, and know all the cities the world, for lack of time, money or friends. What you're looking for, Montag, are in the world, but the only way for the average person see ninety-nine percent of it is in a book. Do not ask for guarantees, do not expect to be saved by one thing, person, machine or blibioteca. Make your own saving work, and if you drown, die, at least, knowing that was headed for the beach.
